Something about me...

For a long time, I really refused the tug to "blog" and talk all about me and my family.  But I really do love the journey through other friends' stories.  I feel more connected with them as I experience their families through the blog and their stories are often so amazing, they inspire me.  And it's not that I really don't feel that my story is any less inspiring.  No, it's that I don't really think that I feel like it's all mine.  And, as I engaged with all the many bloggers through their own sweet stories, I realized they captured the story of God's hand over theirs.  So, here it is, a story of God's in ours...history of Lenc, really His story in Lenc.

I'm mom of four beautiful, busy, baby boys.  Oh, I still refer to them as baby, no matter if one of them is already near-man, Jeremy,13 this summer.  As Daniel, now 6 years old, announced, "I'm not a baby, but I'm always mama's baby."  Then there's Samuel, we call Sweet Sam, 8 years old, and Gabriel Moses, 1.5 years old, who it seems I waited all my life for.

I'm wife to best friend, high school sweet heart, Jean-Marc, whom I've known since we were just children. We're both first generation of immigrant parents; his from France, and mine from the Philippines. Together we have crossed cultures and created one for our own.

The story of Lenc tells of God's hand over us, His redemption in the fallen, the blessing in the obedient, and thanksgiving and joy in all circumstance.

Soli Deo Gloria
